Bargaon Institute of Technology (BIT) made its beginning in 2026 with the vision of creating a strong and sustainable center for technical and management education in Sundargarh, Odisha.

Established under BIG and promoted by the Managing Committee of a unit of Sebati Devi Foundation, Bargaon, the institution began its academic journey with dedicated Management and Diploma Engineering programs on its own campus.

The institution has an overall intake capacity of 660 seats, comprising 300 seats in Management programs and 360 seats in Diploma Engineering programs.
